We had the most fabulous Cockpit Arts Open Studios weekend (Dec 2-4) with record visitors numbers...and sales! All of us were exhausted but had smiling faces. We had lots of new visitors who loved us, along with our wonderful loyal supporters who come to our Open weekends regularly. We had a busy week as several of us makers also got into the spirit by making the gorgeous snowy white tissue pom poms which decorated the building...and along with aromas of mulled wine drifting through the corridors, It certainly got everyone in the festive mood! Here are some pics of my studio (and me) cleaned up and transformed for the weekend....
For those who missed our Open Studios, you will have to wait until June 22-24 2012 for our next one, when we will be celebrating 10 years at Deptford....wow!
